The roadmap for relationship success

Couples intensive work is appropriate for all couples at any stage in their relationship. Whether you:

  • want to strengthen an already healthy relationship,

  • are in a new relationship and want to make sure you get it right,

  • need to repair a relationship that seems dull and disconnected or

  • are barely hanging on and about to call it quits

Our participants range from couples celebrating their 50th anniversary to engaged couples wanting to get it right from the start.

Who Should Attend?

The two-day couples intensive, presented by Imago psychotherapist Lisa Druker and her husband, Michael Ward, is often called the roadmap for relationship success. The work, based on Imago relationship therapy,  teaches the theories and practices created by Dr. Harville Hendrix in his international best selling book "Getting The Love You Want: A Guide for Couples".

The couples intensive is comparable to 6 months of weekly therapy sessions in both cognitive and experiential learning. The work consists of educational lectures, personal reflection and structured communication which is done privately with your partner.

It is important to note this is NOT group therapy but rather educational. Group sharing is not a requirement for

this workshop. For those that prefer, Lisa offers private intensive work in her office.
